이규선 작가는 스스로의 노동 현장의 경험을 통해 몸이 물질을 바꾸고, 물질이 몸을 움직이게 하는 접점에서 끊임없이 일어나는 반응과 변화를 작업으로 표현하고 있습니다. ‘우리가 하나의 결과라고 부르는 것 안에 얼마나 많은 접촉과 반응의 시간이 포개져 있는지(변경주)’ 작품을 통해 살펴보시면서, 인간과 비인간 존재가 서로 끊임없이 영향을 주고받으며 변화하고 생성되는 '조응'의 과정을 나직이 마주해 보시기를 바랍니다.

Reflecting his personal experiences in the workplace of labor, the artist LEE Kyusun captures through his paintings the endless reactions and changes that unfold at the precise point where the body shapes matter and matter drives the body. Contemplating his work, which reveals "how many layers of contact and reaction are folded into what we define as a single outcome (BYUN Kyung-joo)," we invite you to quietly encounter the process of "correspondence"—a state in which human and non-human entities constantly influence one another, undergoing change and emergence.
